About Jet Lag & Jpegs
A journey that sparked something
My partner and I love to travel — and I’ve always found joy in capturing the world as we move through it. This blog is a natural extension of that love — a space where I can reflect on the places we’ve been, the photos I’ve taken, and the memories we’ve made along the way.
It all really started about 10 years ago, with our first big trip to Thailand. Something shifted. That adventure lit a fire in us, and we’ve been travelling ever since — chasing new experiences, local food, hidden streets, and yes, a bit of luxury too.

Photos from the pocket and the heart
I’m very much an amateur photographer — but a passionate one. I’m drawn to street scenes, vibrant markets, remote landscapes, and anything that makes me pause.
I shoot with a Canon mirrorless camera when I can, but many of the moments I want to remember happen fast — and that’s where my iPhone comes in. This blog is part of my learning journey — not a polished portfolio, but a space to explore, improve, and share.
Made for me (and maybe you too)
While I’ve built this space mostly for myself — a place to store memories, images, and the small details I don’t want to forget — I hope it offers something for others too.
Maybe it’s a spark of inspiration, a travel idea, or just a moment to wander through someone else’s lens.
Either way, welcome — and thanks for stopping by.

Who’s Behind the Lens?
I’m in my early 40s, married to an equally travel-obsessed husband, and by day I work in IT consulting.
But this space? This is just for joy. For creativity. For curiosity. For the moments I want to remember.
